1. Download and extract the source files.
   
   
2. Proceed to the directory with AGL sources
   
   
3. Type ./autogen.sh
   
   
4. If autogen was successful type make
   
   
5. If make was successful type examples/helloworld
   
   

This will start the "Hello World" application - an empty black window and the main window with 3 buttons (Start, Pause, Quit).
